Schefflera arboricola, commonly called Umbrella Plant or Dwarf Schefflera, is an evergreen shrub or small tree that grows in tropical climates. The Umbrella Plant is the dwarf version of the larger Schefflera acrinophylla native to Taiwan. This evergreen wields very slender stalks with oblong leaves arranged in a circular fashion at the end of each stem. It is widely grown in temperate climates as a much smaller ornamental foliage houseplant. The plant sits upright with stems clad with glossy, slender-stalked, compound, palmate,evergreeen leaves.
